Emergency!
The College of Emergency Medicine called us in on short notice to write a web site for their 2009 conference in Brighton: not just a web site, we also handled online bookings, and news and events leading up to, during and after the event.
We also produced a "site on a stick", a USB stick containing a full set of the conference papers available before its release deadline presented as a web site (and including links back to updates and addenda hosted on the li ve web site).

Nailsea Folk Club
Nailsea Folk Club like what we did for Nailsea Festival, and asked us to do a rewrite of their web site too.
Visit the club's site to see what's on (or, even better, visit the club at the Ring o' Bells and hear it for yourself!)

more nibblings
We've just done a rebuild of our popular recipe site - new features include:
- new, colourful design
- new tagline
- shorter URLs
- simpler, more obvious navigation
- a more powerful, multi-word search
- and a new feature, which checks the tags by weight, and offers a random selection of recipe links on the main recipe page, thus inviting people to browse further.

the joys of CSS
On Saturday morning, I decided that I was bored with my personal site, and decided to reskin it. I had no real idea what I wanted, but because the site is entirely styled by CSS, it was a simple task to simply play about with colours and layout until I found something I liked
I also took the opportunity to do some more playing with the power of Imagemagick to create some new image effects, and implemented more friendly URLs.
It took me about a day to do .. demonstrating once more that a CSS site is a maintainable site!.

site redesign
In a "cobblers' children" sort of way, web developers' own sites are often left to languish while their owners beaver away writing clever stuff for other people.
We've been only too well aware that our own site has suffered from this, and we've had a makeover in progress for *months*. And now it's finished - hope you like it!

Bubbamoose!
We are very nearly grandparents, and so we felt it to be part of our duty to write a blog site for our daughter and the baby, to keep in touch with all the family.
This is the one and only time we've bought an image for a site - this splendid fellow cost us *six whole dollars*! But we think he was worth it.
